Set Up MFA on your Account | YBH (SMS Text Message) Step-by-Step Instructions

Starting with the upcoming school year of 2024-25, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) will be enabled for all YBH of Passaic faculty users. Please note, you will NOT be prompted for MFA at either of the YBH locations (only if you are connected to the Wi-Fi) or on any YBH owned devices. Below are step-by-step instructions of enrolling your account using SMS text message or a phone call to your cellphone.

Please Note:  MFA will be turned on and active starting August 26, 2024! Take the time to familiarize yourself with the instructions below now! It is RECOMMENDED that you use a PC, such as a desktop or a laptop for the MFA enrollment process!

MFA Setup with SMS (Text Message)

1. Sign-in to your YBH account. You can do so by clicking here.

2. Once you've entered your username and password, you will receive the below 'More information is required' prompt*. Select "Next" to continue. 

3. On the next screen* you will be asked to enter Input your 10-digit mobile phone number. Select the "Receive a code" option (this option is selected by default) and select "Next", to receive the SMS verification on your phone**.  

4. Check your text messages on your cellphone, you should receive a text message that look similar*** to the one in the image below* with a 6-digit verification code.

5. On the next screen*, enter the 6-digit verification code you just received via text message on your cellphone, and select "Next" to continue. 

6. Once your phone number has been verified successfully, you will receive the below prompt. Select "Next" to continue.

7. Success! You have successfully set up MFA using your phone number! Select "Done" to continue signing in*.
